This lovely 3 pc. Collection featuring the "My Faith Bouquet"
design will be the only three pieces produced by Fenton Glass Co. for Mary C.
Jachim (formerly Walrath). The pieces include the Willow Green satin finish
Sitting Cat, which was introduced in 2002, as well as two new editions just
completed.
The "My Faith" Bouquet Willow Green Sitting Cat, handpainted by Diane
Gessel, is limited to 222 pieces for sentimental reasons and is personally
signed and numbered. The bouquet consists of a white Rose in the center, with
two rosebuds, three sprays of Forget-Me-Nots and three sprays of pink Lilies of
the Valley. The inscription reads: "Faith In Christ's Purr-fect Love".
The new piece for the year 2003, to celebrate Mary & Stan's first
anniversary, is a Burmese Frog, handpainted by Diane Gessel and
again limited to only 222 same as the Willow Green Cat. It is inscribed: "LEAP
WITH FAITH" . This frog is not only signed by Diane
Gessel but also personally numbered and signed by Mary C. Jachim.
The third piece is a beautiful Rosalene sandblasted 11" tall Feather
Vase, limited to only 55, with all three panels fully handpainted by Diane
Gessel, numbered and also signed by Mary C. Jachim. This vase was originally
produced in 2002 in the glossy finish as part of Fenton's "Honor Collection".
The "Faith" Bouquet edition is the only piece in that entire collection that
has been sandblasted. The decoration is highlighted by a miniature spray of a
white rosebud, with accents of the pink Lily of the Valley and the blue
Forget-Me-Not, above each bouquet. The vase is inscribed on the bottom with the
message: "Faith Sees The Unseen" and bears their
anniversary date: 2/02/03.
